We have been given the opportunity and challenge to be the caretakers of God's creation through every single stem we grow.
Our mission is to provide a peaceful environment where people can connect with nature and spark their creativity through the beauty of flowers.
MEET THE FAMILY
Kirby & Victoria
OWNERS
Victoria and Kirby are the husband-and-wife team behind Miss Millie’s, united by a deep love for farming, sustainability, and the beauty of flowers.
Victoria’s passion for agriculture started in childhood and grew into a lifelong pursuit, leading her to earn her Agriculture diploma in 2020. Kirby, originally a draftsman, found himself drawn to the farm, using his skills to design and build much of what makes Miss Millie’s what it is today. Over the years, we’ve learned so much—about soil health, sustainable growing, and how to work with nature rather than against it.
Our farm is rooted in regenerative agriculture, with a focus on creating a balanced, diverse ecosystem. We believe in nurturing the land so it can continue to thrive for generations to come. Every season brings new lessons, and we are always growing—both as farmers and as stewards of this land.
At the heart of it all, we love what we do and are so grateful to share it with others. Whether through our flowers, events, or the farm experience itself, we hope to bring a little more beauty and connection to the world around us.
Jodi & Gary
FOUNDER
Jodi founded Miss Millie’s in 2019 after a decade in the horticulture industry. Wanting to spend more time on the farm while still working with flowers, she was drawn to the idea of a U-Pick flower farm—something that didn’t yet exist in Manitoba. And so, Miss Millie’s was born, named after her beloved pug, Millie.
From day one, Jodi’s husband, Gary, has been a driving force behind the farm. He builds greenhouses, puts up fences (and takes them down), moves buildings (sometimes more than once), and fixes just about everything that breaks. While also running his grain farm, he continues to be an essential part of keeping Miss Millie’s growing and thriving.
Over the years, Miss Millie’s has flourished, and in time, Jodi passed the business down to Victoria and Kirby. Though they now lead the farm, Jodi remains an integral part of the operation, continuing to share her knowledge, passion, and hands-on help in keeping the farm blooming.
Millie
QUALITY CONTROL
The sweet girl that Miss Millie’s Flower Farm is aptly named after; Millie has been by Jodi’s side since she was brought home for her daughter.
Easy going and a self proclaimed people lover, Millie can be found lying in the sun during the summer and next to the fireplace keeping warm in the winter.
Be sure to give her a pet when you see her amongst the flowers.
Tatiana
CREATIVE OPERATIONS MANAGER
We first met Tatiana in our very first year of flower farming when she owned a flower shop in Winnipeg. It was her excitement that inspired us to expand our wholesale business. After decades in the floral industry, Tat officially joined the team in 2023, bringing her wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion for flowers. Her role on the farm continues to evolve and grow, just like the blooms she helps nurture. From managing wedding designs, events, and farm operations, Tat is an integral part of our team-and truly part of the family.
